In June 2019, bride to be Charlotte contacted Style By Rebecca to arrange a bespoke wedding styling package in the run up to her big day, which was only three months away. Charlotte required assistance with finding her dream wedding dress and accessories, along with help planning her ideal wedding hair and make-up.

Charlotte had just booked Fernhurst Church, West Sussex, and was busy arranging for an intimate reception in the grounds of her family home. With little time to plan the wedding, Charlotte called on the expertise of Company Director Rebecca Davies.

Charlotte said: “I felt the pressure was on to find a wedding dress and Rebecca immediately put me at ease with her relaxed nature. We talked through all my wishes and I was able to show her styles that I liked and those that weren’t for me. I explained that I wanted to look classy, but the dress had to be comfortable and practical.”

Rebecca recalls: “Once I had a good understanding of how Charlotte hoped to look and feel on her wedding day, I researched various boutiques which stocked the perfect range of styles for her to try. During our first bridal session we visited May and Grace, a bridal boutique in Haslemere, followed by another in Farnham, where we looked through all of the options I recommended.”

Charlotte couldn’t believe it when she fell in love with the first dress that she tried on. Despite trying a variety of styles that Rebecca had set aside at the bridal boutiques, her heart was set on a stunning dress from May and Grace.

Charlotte said: “Rebecca’s planning meant that I didn’t have to trawl through tons of dresses in the hope I could find the right one. It took all the pressure off and it felt so easy. I really enjoyed my bridal session, which was amazing, considering I had been scared that I wouldn’t find a dress I would love.

“I never thought I would have that fairy tale moment, but I did and there was no compromise. I fell in love with my dress which had stunning lace detail. With Rebecca’s help I went on to pick a matching veil, along with a train. The dress was everything I hoped for and the long train was so practical as I could wear it at the church and then remove it for the garden reception.”

Once the dream dress and accessories were selected, Rebecca quickly organised a make-up and hair trial. Charlotte opted for a natural make-up look with soft tones. She wanted to show off the back of her dress and decided to wear her hair up.

Charlotte said: “I was really pleased with the trial and the stylist was excellent. She understood exactly what I wanted to achieve, and I was able to enjoy the experience. I then went on to have a dress fitting very quickly and a few others after that to ensure the dress was a perfect fit. I received such a great service and my dress and accessorise were of the highest quality.”

Charlotte’s wedding to Ben was a magical day and one which the couple will never forget. The wedding photos that the bride and groom have kindly shared with us reflect Charlottes confidence on her special day.

Charlotte reflects: “I felt wonderful on my wedding day and my dress was everything I hoped for. I received so many complements, especially about my train. I had been so worried about the wedding day, but when it arrived, I felt so confident and I was able to enjoy it. It was such a transformation and a lovely way to feel. I put it down to having the right dress, make-up and hair styling. The make-up artist also made-up my bridesmaids beautifully.

She was also able to stick to my budget and short time frame as she is so efficient. It made the whole wedding experience a real pleasure and I am so grateful.”
